I am a psychotherapist dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care for adolescents, adults, and older adults. I earned my MSW at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including:
- depression and anxiety,
- ADHD,
- eating and coping patterns,
- substance use and addictive behaviors,
- trauma and PTSD,
- relationship or family stress,
- prenatal and postpartum mood changes,
- and transitions across the lifespan.
I also have experience supporting those coping with chronic illness, the impacts of domestic or family violence, and the unique experiences of military life.
My approach is warm, grounded, and trauma-informed, built on the belief that therapy is a deeply personal journey that unfolds uniquely for each person. There’s no “right” direction you’re expected to take—only the one that becomes clear as we move through your experiences together. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to offer support, guidance, and understanding along the way.
In our work together, I utilize psychodynamic therapy and integrate somatic approaches as well as evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness approaches. I use these tools flexibly and collaboratively—always centering your goals, your values, and what feels most meaningful for you.
My priority is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, validated, and safe. A space where you can show up exactly as you are, explore what’s weighing on you, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward greater clarity and resilience.
