Fees and Insurance

We are able to accept many BCBS and Aetna insurance plans.  Out of network or self pay fees are dependent on the type of service provided, please contact us for specific rates. We can negotiate sliding scale fees. We accept payment in the form of cash, credit card, and check. We are happy to provide a receipt for anyone wishing to receive reimbursement for an out of network visit. Contact your insurance company directly about their “out-of-network” mental health coverage, yearly deductible, percentage of reimbursement (generally 40-80%), and whether a prior authorization is required.  If you are filing for an out of network reimbursement, please note that insurance companies rarely allow for more than one session per week and have limits concerning the number of sessions covered per year.

If a conflict occurs with a scheduled appointment, please contact us to reschedule or cancel. We request that appointments be canceled within 24 hours of an appointment time or you will be charged the out of network fee. We do understand that emergency situations take place and we always take this into consideration before charging a client with a late cancellation fee. We believe that the clinician’s time and the client’s time is important and make a point to express this sentiment in our treatment together.
